My work is rooted in memory, culture, and lived experience. I draw inspiration from places that have shaped me and moments that continue to hold emotional and personal significance. Through painting, I explore ideas of identity, belonging, and remembrance, using visual storytelling as a way to preserve experiences that might otherwise fade with time.

I work primarily with acrylic paint and approach each piece through an intuitive, layered process. I often move through multiple phases of sketching and drafting before the image fully comes together on canvas. This repetition allows the work to evolve naturally and reflects the way memories shift, overlap, and resurface. Painting is a deeply therapeutic practice for me, offering space for reflection, healing, and emotional grounding. The physical act of building layers becomes part of the meaning within the work itself.

Through my work, I hope viewers are able to find fragments of themselves within the imagery. I aim to create opportunities for conversation around identity, diversity, and shared human experience. By inviting viewers to reflect on their own memories and backgrounds, my work seeks to foster connection, understanding, and a sense of collective belonging beyond the canvas.
