
Emanuel H. Brown (he/him) is a Black Caribbean Man of Trans* experience Land Steward. He has authored works found in The Reverb on Medium, Deconstructionist Playbook: An Anthology, Women’s Studies Quarterly: Black Love, and Invisible No More: Study Guide. A prolific creative Emanuel served as the Artistic Director for an immersive performance ritual, Nu Mas(k)ulinities as an Artist in Residence at The Current ArtSpace+ Studio in 2019, and jury selected for New Masculinities Festival in 2020. Emanuel's dedication to Black Diasporic Technologies was felt for four years as the Producer and Curator of Black Love Convergence. Emanuel’s passion for land stewardship, freedom, and healing arts can be on What's the Big Idea?!, TransLash Podcast, In Praxis Podcast and Justice is Essential. He has been honored as a Senior Fellow for Pop Culture Collaborative, Southern Healing Star Awardee, and Writing Fellow for Resonance Network.
